In Weeks 4–6, three teams left Rampage Premade and, as a result, extremely tight playoff races developed in each division. Joining me today for this week’s power rankings are two fellow participants in Premade Rampage: Mr. Kurido from newly rebranded Omega Gaming Oblivion and Mr. Reedie from Screaming Sun Gaming.

Division 1 (Kurido)

1. Screaming Sun Gaming (6–0)

We would be remiss if we didn’t mention the kings of the group, SSG. This team has been smashing every bit of competition in their way towards playoffs. The only potentially dangerous matchup left in their path is in week 8 when they face down Eat Our Damage. This team came in as the overall first seed and they’ve never let their foot off the gas pedal.

2–0 after 2–0 has cemented this team as the number one seed in the group and the strongest team in Division 1. SSG are searching for the trophy for this split and so far it seems like nobody will stand in their way to reach the top. Except, potentially, our #2 entry.

2. Mythos Purple (5–1)

Mythos Purple are the shadow right behind SSG. They are the second seed in their group and the only team to draw blood from the undefeated monsters. While they may have fallen in that match, it hasn’t changed their resolve for the top. They came back swinging just as hard, with their captain leading the charge for their eventual rematch against SSG. Mythos Purple face down the Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies this weekend to show their dominance and to prove that they’re fighting for the throne just as hard as SSG.

3. Eat Our Damage (4–2)

From this point on things get a little tighter when it comes to determining the remaining teams within the group who will make it out. While FBRD have the easier schedule, having already faced SSG and having a bye in week 8 due DGS leaving the league, EOD have struck back from their early stumbles.

While they did take a stumble in Week 6 to SFU Academy, this version of EOD is showing they don’t need competitive rulings to get themselves to the top of their group. Consistent strength and quick, dominant wins are enough to show that this team is here to play. If their previous weeks are anything to show, a 6–3 record is in their future and a likely showing in playoffs.

4. Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies (4–2)

FBRD have an easier schedule to close out their final quarter, but they still have one last titan to face before playoffs begin. They’re looking to close out their season strong and to make a playoffs run. Mythos Purple is looking to snuff out that flame, though, in this opening week to the final third of the regular split.

With that said, FBRD have had a bit of a stumbling in recent weeks. They weren’t able to get the fire burning against SSG and took an unfortunate loss to SFU, who appear to be a sleeper team right under the surface of Division 1. Division 1is shaping up to be a very strong and competitive group. The fight for 3rd and 4th will likely be down to the very last match until we see who will be our representatives in the Top 16.

Division 2

1. Collective Destiny (6–0)

Members of Collective Destiny must all have hot dates every Saturday night because this team is speed-running their regular season matchups. Not only have they not dropped a single game in SIX series, all the wins look like landslide wallops. The TCD jungler, Agony, has an insane kda of 63.33 over twelve games. That number is so big, I can’t even comprehend what’s going on in their games. TCD is looking like an unstoppable force and one of the favorites to take home the title.

2. Limitless Chaox (4–2)

Team Limitless Chaox weren’t even in my top six in the last edition of power rankings but have made a roaring comeback since their 1–2 start. In the second block of the season, LX have picked up very impressive wins against DDB and ST5, while also picking up a FF victory against LEG. Top laner, C0nquers, has been an absolute rock in the top side and has displayed solid stat-lines on picks such as Cho’Gath, Mordekaiser, Poppy, and Urgot. Limitless Chaox have a relatively weak remaining schedule along with a free FF win and look to be in a good spot to nab one of the playoff slots.

3. Space Team 5 (4–2)

Space Team 5 have gone a respectable 2–1 in the second block of the season, picking up wins against DDB and PRE but dropping a close series against LX. ADC, ClimateWarning, has been delivering MVP performances on his late-game scaling picks while also showing he can pull out Tristana in the right situation. ST5 have a FF victory coming up in Week 7 but also have a date with the top dog of the division, Collective Destiny, as their season finale.

4. MIC (3–3)

Since the first bye, Team MIC have picked up two very strong victories with their lone loss to TCD. Mid laner, Kana775, delivered MVP caliber performances on snowball assassin mids and he’ll need to will his team across the finish line if they want a top four finish.

Last Rampage season, team MIC just barely didn’t make the cut for playoffs due to forfeiting too many series and this team looks like a very tough out in the postseason if they can field a consistent roster each week. The most important matchup this team has left is their Week 7 series against the 4–2 Limitless Chaox. Team MIC’s Week 8 and Week 9 matchups are against the bottom of the division so if they can win their series later today, they will be in great position for top four.

5. Dirty Diet Brigade (4–2)

The Dirty Diet Brigade have hit a bit of a stumble since starting the season 3–0. Since their red hot start, the team lost a close series to LX, suffered a 0–2 defeat to Space Team 5, and delivered the final 2–0 knockout to team Ladtype that ultimately ended up in LAD dropping out of Rampage Premade.

The strength of their remaining schedule is definitely concerning for DDB’s playoff hopes as Week 8 has DDB pitted against the undefeated number one seed of the group, TCD. Possibly the most important matchup is their Week 9 matchup against LEG, which potentially could be a fight for fourth place on the final day of regular season.

Division 3

1. Omega Gaming Oblivion (6–0)

Formerly known as Wichita Oblivion, the newly rebranded Omega Gaming Oblivion have followed their 3–0 start to the season with another 3–0 while not dropping a single game in this second block. The player I picked as the person to watch on this team has, of course, been nowhere to befound as Mr. Rivered now mans the top lane. Time will tell if this is a temporary or permanent change.

Bot lane duo, Snakedoktor and aiharajoan, have taken their game to the next level, popping off with monster performances in almost every game in the second block of the season. The whole team is looking solid even with their new top laner and OMG look ready to make a deep playoff run.

2. 4D Chess (6–0)

Coming in at number two is another undefeated team in 4D Chess. The only reason they are coming in under OMG is the strength of their remaining schedule. 4D Chess absolutely romped through their competition in the second block of the season with very strong drafts. It looks extremely difficult to gameplan against this team with ADC YDbangetud’s pool of Tristana, Veigar, and Kog’Maw and his teammate’s variety of picks to support his scaling ADC’s.

OBJ have dates with three of the top five teams in the division to finish the season out and they’ll have to stay in form for every series from here on out. And to update the question from the previous power ranking, the Anivia remains permabanned against mid laner, maplecat21.

3. Rome Revolution Esports (5–1)

After their week 3 loss to OMG, RRE have come roaring back with strong victories over LS, DDR, and ST. Their new ADC, PurpleDino15, has been delivering MVP caliber performances and shown he is absolutely not a downgrade to the team’s original ADC. For the rest of the season, RRE will be looking to lock up the best playoff position they can with the most important matchup they have left against currently undefeated 4D Chess.

4. Needlessly Large Rods (3–3)

First in the fight for fourth place, Needlessly Large Rods had two strong victories over ST and AE but dropped a close series to OBJ. In Weeks 7 and 8, they face the lower half of the division before a season finale clash with first seed, OMG. NLR own the head to head win over DDR and with DDR also scheduled to face a strong team in OBJ, NLR look like the favorite to take the fourth spot.

5. Dirty Diet Reapers (3–3)

DDR had a tough schedule in the second third of the season, dropping series to both OMG and RRE but did pick up a win against LS. The Reapers aren’t in a bad spot for a playoff finish but the team seems to be dealing with internal struggles as their mid laner had some very questionable decisions to tank turret in front of his opposing mid laner.

Division 4 (Reedie)

1. GRIN Reapers (6–0)

GRIN looks to come out on top of the very competitive Division 4. Armed with a solid and reliable solo laners, Billy Willard and Feathers and Fur who play around their team and play selflessly, a carry oriented botlane with RSN Travis and “Guardian Wakka, and a refreshing and innovative jungler who roleswapped in The Bully, GRIN is looking like the team to beat. GRIN looks to prefer to be playing a controlled and calculated style of league that is team fight oriented and does not mind going to late with plenty of frontline tankiness and backline damage output.

GRIN in the following weeks looks to secure their first place seeding in their group by tackling on the other titans in their group in the last two weeks: Collective Resistance and Iron Chefs. When the dust has settled will GRIN still be on top of the standings?

2. Iron Chefs (5–1)

The Rampage Open champs are looking to finish strong and possibly even challenge GRIN. Lead by Spartan Monkey whose high damage output and standout marksmen performance in this season, the team also highly benefits from King Tehol and Myfriendtoldmeto’s playmaking. The team also sports not one but two mid laners, Blitzkreeg8 and Timaay, to switch from if it wasn’t hard enough to draft against them already.

IC in the following weeks looks to keep up their good performance and possibly challenge GRIN for the first seed in Week 9.

3. Collective Resistance (5–1)

The Collective Resistance are looking to make a name for themselves and possibly ascend in the standings. Top laner, Banana Bread XD, dominates with Darius while jungler Lunsbuns enables his team and create picks with playmaking champs. TCR in the coming weeks will be tested by the likes of GRIN and TILT for playoff seeding and will look to prove they aren’t just the little sister for the pair of Collective teams currently in Rampage Premade.

4. Tiltbenders (4–2)

This entry for fourth seed may come as a surprise to some people but ask any team that’s played them recently and they’ll tell you: just like after a long day of solo queue, TILT is on the rise.

After a dominant showing vs EOD: CW, TILT is well equipped to make playoffs with the likes of GandalfHasNoCake whose early game centric picks propel this team forward. Toplaner DGrider is a menace in teamfights with his team oriented picks such as Ornn, Malphite, and Kennen. On the other end of the spectrum their midlaner, Altaerious, enjoys pushing the tempo of the game by picking lane dominant champions and assassins.

TILT looks to take on TCR and TFF to rise in the standings and continue their upward trend.

5. EOD: Crab Wranglers (3–3)

Things in Division 4 are definitely not set in stone as far as who’s going to the playoffs and in what seed. That being said, in this group you cannot simply sleep on the crab wranglers. They have top laner, Myopia, whose standout champion pool is unlike any other top laner, along with Unbound, a fan favorite in Risen who looks to dominate teamfights with high damage output.

The Crabs look to grab a playoff spot in the group of death and to not just end up as a tasty crab cake appetizer for the other teams in this group. Will these crabs scuttle towards a playoff seed? Or will we truly have to wait for season 27 for Unbound to contend for a chip?

The planned next issue is playoff predictions and I would like to have as many experts on the analyst panel as possible. If you’re already a lock for playoffs and you want to tell everyone how hard your team is about to smurf, WELCOME. If your team is in the unfortunate situation where a postseason doesn’t seem realistic but you still would like to share your hot takes, WELCOME. Even if you don’t play in the league but know a lot of the players, WELCOME. All aboard the playoff hype train. This is your time to be heard, don’t hesitate. DM me at Benchwarmer #3528.
